In such cases, if budget is not a matter, I often suggest B12 pro kit from Bilstein. When it comes to shocks, this brand is my favorite, not gonna lie. But that’s not the only reason to suggest this.

B12 Pro Kit is a set of Bilstein’s B12 shock and Eibach’s pro kit performance springs. B12 is one of the finest designs from Bilstein, made of high-quality and durable materials. Thus, it is strong and able to handle harsh conditions.

The Eibach pro kit is also made of high-quality material. So you won’t face any issues with the build quality and material.

Performance

According to Bilstein, B12 is made to offer comfortable handling in both regular and sports applications. Besides, Eibach claims their pro-kit springs to be able to offer a better ride quality by absorbing small and medium impacts. Thus, the combination of these two should be something street performance lovers want.

The scenario is exactly the same in this case. Most users, including some of my clients, have said they’ve seen instant improvement after installing the kit. Most of them discussed smoothness on bumps. Some also claimed to have way better cornering performance.

Some reviews have talked about ride stiffness in the beginning. Though I haven’t seen anything like this, you may experience it.

If everything goes smoothly, you won’t need more than 5 hours to install all four shocks.

Bilstein has kept the price of the kit in a premium range. Based on the model of your vehicle, you may have to spend around $1,050-$1,250 for a set of four shocks.

This is the approximate price range. To save some bucks, surf through popular websites or mechanic shops around you and compare the prices. This would give you a better price.

Durability

I haven’t heard much about the durability of these suspensions. I’ve checked a lot of reviews, but none discussed the durability.

Being made of high-quality material, they last pretty long, I guess. I’ll let you know when I find more information about it.

Warranty

Bilstein offers a 90-day workmanship and material warranty for this kit. So, if you find any defect caused by poor material or workmanship within 90 days of purchase, you can claim a warranty. But, they could offer a better warranty policy for a product priced in such a premium range.

If you ask me about the problems you may face with this kit, I would say that you won’t face such things. In my opinion, the price is a bit high. But if you’re willing to spend this amount on a shock set, it won’t be a bad investment.

People who love the twin tube design may not love it because of the monotube design. This is not a problem exactly. Instead, it is more about personal choice. I think the monotube design is not an issue as long as it offers you the performance you want.
